Hello! I am a licensed clinical professional counselor in Illinois with over 5 years of experience in the field. I have experience working in both outpatient community mental health and inpatient dual diagnosis treatment. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families of all ages. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, communication issues, and substance abuse. I also have group counseling experience.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I treat all clients with empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard. I believe the client-therapist relationship is key to successful therapy and that building trust is essential. My approach combines emotionally-focused therapy, client-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I believe that therapy should be client-driven, and will therefore work with you to create a treatment plan with specific goals and objectives to meet your specific needs.
