Hello! I am Chief, an independently licensed professional counselor in Nevada and Washington and have been practicing since 2018. I have an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, am Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Certified and am a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I help adults who struggle with the after-effects of traumatic experiences and other concerns. A terrifying event, whether seen or experienced, can trigger lasting symptoms. You feel them in your body. While you can't quite identify them, you do know that you feel their effects every day. Panic attacks, nightmares, flashbacks, and more. What you may be experiencing are the symptoms of trauma. They might be sudden and intense, ongoing, new, or stemming from childhood. Either way, their effects can be powerful and life-altering. It is true, some people may feel these symptoms and move forward with a peaceful, undisturbed existence. Unfortunately, for you, peaceful and undisturbed feels like it left your life long ago. My training in EMDR and personal experience allow me to help you reach the life you deserve. We'll work together to decrease your symptoms, resolving the root of your pain, and giving you lasting positive results. Don't let trauma rob you of the ability to live a joyful and connected life. In my spare time, I may engage in hobbies, I might be by himself, with family, a group, or my partner and our dog. I love hiking and rock climbing. Something about climbing hundreds of feet up a mountain is incredibly exhilarating. At the top, its just you and the beauty of nature.
