About

My name is Kay Jackson and I have been in the counseling profession for 18 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Community Mental Health. I also have post Master's work in Counselor Education and Supervision. I have served in both clinical and educational settings as both counselor educator and clinician. My credentials to practice include serving as a national certified counselor (NCC) , a licensed professional counselor (LPC) for the State of Mississippi, a licensed professional counselor supervisor for the State of Mississippi (LPC-S), an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and I am also a Board Certified Tele-mental Health Therapist (BC-TMH).

Further, I have worked with clients dealing with the following but not limited to the following: anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, marital and relationship issues, grief, self worth, and career exploration.

I strongly believe in meeting clients where they are in life. I will tailor our time together with a treatment plan that meets your specific needs. My approach to therapy comes from cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused therapy perspectives.
