About
Vulnerability is not winning or losing; its having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome. Vulnerability is not weakness; its our greatest measure of courage- Brene Brown It takes courage to decide to come to therapy. I appauld you for being here. I like to think of our challenges and struggles a little like the ancient Japanese art from of KIntsugi. Our brokenness or imperfection is really our strength. Kintsugi is an art form where the Potter films gold into the parts of a broken pot to make the brokenness beautiful. We can find beauty in our imperfections. I believe in post traumatic growth. My super power is to take your story and help you find belief in yourself again. We can work together on a new perspective on your negative self talk and offering you hope, self love and confidence again. I am trained in therapy modalities that can be helpful in coping skills for when you feel unable to get through your hard things. I am non-judgment and acceptancing. You can feel safe talking with me. Many of my clients come to see me when experiencing depression, grief, anxiety and/or hopelessness.I work with clients struggling with depression or perfectionism. The thoughts of I am not good enough or I don't matter; can be challenged and new ways of being kind to yourself can replace your self defeating self talk. I can help you with your core beliefs that get in the way of feeling connected, safe and loving yourself. Let's work together to change that inner dialogue. To get more postive and resilency focus and to work through the debilitating feelings of depression, grief or perfectionism. I am passionate about serving people who have experienced trauma, whether it is a severe traumatic experience or something that your brain is not able to let go of. I have worked with perfectionism and people who struggle with self-love and acceptance.
