Hello and Welcome! My name is Karla Grgas, and I'm a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist. I have 16 years of experience providing mental health therapy in English and Spanish to children, teens, adults, families, and couples. I have worked in a variety of settings that include schools, medical centers, and my own private practice. I specialize in anxiety, depression, life transitions, and gender-affirming care. I approach therapy with individuals and families by using cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused, client-centered, and strength-based modalities in order for the client to learn how to make positive changes in their life. In addition, I can help parents navigate the school system by collaborating with school staff to better support their child’s academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges. My goal is to provide my clients with a safe environment where they are allowed to freely say what’s on their mind without judgment, highlight their strengths and develop a treatment plan that fits their needs.
