I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 10 years of experience. I have worked with many individuals struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, personality disorders, self-esteem issues, parenting issues, domestic violence, ADHD, and autism.
My approach is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Client-Centered Therapy. I am very down to Earth and non-judgmental. I’ve always told my clients two things: 1. almost everyone (including myself) has needed and would benefit from counseling at some time in their life, and 2. My job is to work myself out of a job. In other words, my job is to aid my clients with the tools they need to be self-sufficient, but still provide adequate support.
