My name is Kari Whatley, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Alabama. I currently operate a private counseling practice that serves a wide range of clients struggling with depression, anger management, anxiety, relationship/couples issues, and other life challenges. I also have full-time experience as a hospice grief counselor working with families experiencing terminal illness, end of life issues, and grief.

My approach is to help clients find the tools they need to live the life they are looking for and to heal from hurts and wounds. I believe in concrete, practical solutions for dealing with life’s challenges and difficult seasons. I focus on action-oriented therapies that provide measurable improvement and increased self-awareness. I will be systematic and intentional in equipping you with the tools you need to lead a more fulfilling life.

It takes courage to seek out changes or support in difficult times, and I applaud each person willing to take those important steps. I believe that each client is the expert on their own life and has the personal insights that they need to make important changes.
