Hi there! I am pleased that you are considering working with me! I am fully licensed and have been working as a therapist on-and-off for 30 years. I have a client-centered, relationship-oriented approach and I use elements of mindfulness, CBT, positive psychology, systems, solution focused, spiritually-based, and trauma treatment models, depending on what works for each person. I work with individuals and couples (of all types) for a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, communication, job/career, grief and loss (including COVID related), and life stage transitions.

I view my role as primarily that of a facilitator—to provide you with skills, feedback and support, and to help you process emotions and foster healing, etc. so you can reach your desired goals. I believe that we are meant to have happy and fulfilling lives but sometimes we can get snagged (e.g., by situations, relationships, memories, feelings, guilt, habits, etc.). Ideally, therapy helps clients develop resources and resilience to resolve and move beyond current challenges to a happier and more fulfilling life.
