My name is Karen (Kari) Rodriguez and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida. I have obtained a master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling with honors from Southeastern University. I am currently pursuing my doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy, with a specialization in children and adolescent therapy, from Northcentral University. In therapy, I empower my clients to overcome the burden of their anxiety and/or depression symptoms to regain control over their lives. I am passionate about helping clients see positive outcomes in their lives through effective mental health treatment. Therefore, I have received training in evidenced-based practices such as, CBT, DBT and Gottman Couples Therapy. I am certified in Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (C-DBT), I am a certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), and I have training in Gottman Couples Therapy (Levels 1 and 2). I also utilize psychodynamic therapy and attachment-based therapy in treatment as well. I love mixing my these approaches together to get to the core of your struggles.
