About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in Texas. I have over 15 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I also worked as a school counselor for 4 years. I have worked with clients with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I also work with children who have been removed from their parents and placed in the foster care system.

My therapy style is empathy and compassion. I believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, DBT and motivational interviewing. I will consider each individual case and construct a treatment plan that incorporates the appropriate theoretic base.
I encourage my clients to fully invest and embrace their counseling sessions as personal time to work on a healthy balance between mental, physical and spiritual health.
Most individuals spend the majority of their time lifting others up and fail to take care of themselves. You must take care of your needs in order to help others. You can’t pour out of an empty cup.
