Hello! My name is Karelin Wadkins, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) in California. I have over 8 years of experience working with adults, couples, teens and families. My work experience both in person and online ranges from helping people deal with anxiety or depression, substance abuse or dependence, codependency, trauma history, self esteem issues and difficulty around changes in life.

Often when we're dealing with depression, anxiety, substance abuse or any other mental health issue we just don't know how to deal with what is in front of us, no one taught us how to get through that! I work from a mindfulness & CBT based perspective to help you slow down, identify what is important to you in life and to move towards those important values. I'd describe myself as empathetic, nonjudgmental & open. The treatment modalities I specialize in included Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
