Hi there, I'm Kara! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters Degree in Social Work with an emphasis in mental health. I have over 20 years experience working with children, families, couples, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, perinatal mood disorders, grief and loss, life transitions, family and marital concerns, and domestic violence. My goal as a therapist is to guide people through life challenges with a interactive, warm and accepting approach. I use an eclectic approach to therapy tailored to my clients individual needs and use multiple therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focus Therapy, Mindfulness as well as Solution Focused Therapy.
