Hi there, my name is Kannan Vinaitheerthan. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker typically practicing in Wilmette, Illinois and currently providing therapy virtually as well as outdoors weather permitting. I work with children, adolescents and adults and provide individual and family therapy. I have experience working with those who are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, school-related problems and more. My approach is based on developing a trusting relationship and collaborating with others you might already be working with such as a doctor or school counselors. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, mindfulness and a collaborative problem solving approach.
