I believe each person can live a full and happy life if they understand who they are and what their true goals in life are. Sometimes the day to day stressors of life become overwhelming, and that is when psychotherapy may help an individual to identify issues that are preventing them from being happy. I work with individuals in a wide range of age groups. Some of the issues I work with are anxiety, depression, insomnia,stress management, autism, behavioral issues in children, marital difficulties, depression, family issues, women's issues, eating disorders, trauma and grief.
I specialize in treating anxiety disorders and insomnia by using cognitive behavioral therapy and relaxation techniques. I believe that learning new skills with the assistance of a therapist is an important factor in helping an individual overcome issues. The goal of therapy is to help learn new coping strategies to create life changes.
