Hi, I'm Kalisha and I'm a clinical social worker licensed in both California and Texas. Are you feeling an increase in stress or anxiety that feels like it is too much to carry on your own? Does it seem like you are losing motivation or energy for things you normally enjoy? Are you struggling with healing after a traumatic life event? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you have made the right choice by making this important decision to start therapy. I know seeking help can be hard. You’ve likely been debating seeking help for months, if not years, but I'm so glad you have taken the courageous step of being here and we are ready to hold space for you. I provide mental health counseling to children, adolescents, and young adults. I support clients struggling with anxiety and depression process their thoughts and feelings so that they can learn safe and healthy coping skills to respond to those challenging experiences. Some of the modalities I use are cognitive behavioral interventions, talk therapy, and mindfulness. I am motivated by my clients' desire to heal, learn, and grow. Healing is sacred and I provide a safe space for you to share your experiences, process the impact, and release your stress so you can move forward and enjoy being present.
