I have worked in the human services field for the past 14 years. My path to this point has lead through numerous work environments and populations, from intensive inpatient settings to community based outreach. I have a constant desire to learn about individuals and the systems in which they belong. This passion has lead to beneficial outcomes in the services I provide by allowing those I serve to gain insight about themselves as well as the world around them.

I believe strongly in the empowerment model, finding the strengths within others and helping them produce a determined sense of self. My approach in counseling is holistic, integrating numerous systems into treatment and utilizing various modalities in order to fit my clients needs. If there is a lesson I have learned through my personal and professional experiences, it is that anyone can change their life if they commit their heart and find the right support.
