Hey there. First, I want to say that I am incredibly impressed that you are taking the first step toward being the best version of yourself and second, thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me.

My name is Katy Burke. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I am licensed in the State of Minnesota.
I have been providing counseling interventions for about 3 years now. I received my Bachelor of Arts from the College of Saint Benedict and my Master's in Social Work from the University of St. Thomas/St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN. In my spare time I enjoy working on rehab projects around my house and snuggling my two Corgi-mix dogs, Jasper and Dorito.

I have experience in working with adults with disabilities, chronic illness, and anyone who feels they need a little extra support and guidance. I like to create a supportive and judgment-free space that will allow you to be uniquely and unapologetically you. Through my experience, I have been able to work with individuals experiencing Grief & Loss, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Coping Issues, and general life stressors. I center my work with clients around them while incorporating Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness techniques to provide a well-rounded approach tailored to your needs. I enjoy meeting clients where they are at and assisting them in whatever goal they have in mind. We are in this together and you are not alone.
