Kaila McCarthy, M.S. LMFT (she/her) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Alabama, as well as a Master's degree in Human Sexuality Education with a clinical focus in Sex Therapy from Widener University. Also, she is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Human Sexuality with a clinical focus in Sex Therapy at Widener University. Kaila’s specific areas of passion include: relationships, survivors of sexual trauma, and affirming care for LGBTQA+ individuals and relationships.  

Kaila has over four years’ experience of working with a variety of individuals, relationships, families, and children (ages 3 and up) from diverse backgrounds. She has been trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and has experience working with children/adolescents who have witnessed or experienced abuse. Kaila will provide a "safe space" to all members of the community to feel heard and accepted. She will collaborate with you to establish customized treatment goals. Kaila believe that you are the expert of your life and we are here to give guidance, assurance, and tools to better yourself and relationships.

Kaila's specialty areas include: trauma and sexual/sexuality issues.

Currently, Kaila splits her time between her private practice and betterhelp. Please provide her time to respond to messages.

Tuesday: 11:30am-2:30pm
Wednesday & Thursday: 12pm-7pm
Friday: 12pm-5:30
