Dr. Hewitt has always had a heart to help others. Dr. Hewitt has had the opportunity to provide counseling services, mentoring, and life coaching in the community, private, and educational sector. Providing counseling and mentoring to families to improve families’ dynamics in the form of family, couples, individual, and group counseling has been her passion for many years. She strives to help clients overcome circumstances and learning how to be self-sufficient and emotionally stable. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adult populations. She has experience working with individuals, families, and couples to address such issues as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, communication, life skills, and various other issues. She feels that change is possible for all who are willing to work on their issues while embarking on a new journey and striving for self-sufficiency and emotional stability. Her goal is to help individuals achieve and maintain their highest level of emotional independence while moving forward and focusing on their future. She believes that self-care starts with self-preservation and acceptance of things one cannot change.
