About
Primary, my techniques when working with individuals as well as within a family system is using an integrated approach, combining both Solution Focused Therapy with Cognitive-Behavioral techniques such as play therapy and positive reinforcement. These approaches help to rebuild an individual’s and families foundation, setting them up for success, not only today, but also in the future. Instead of putting a Band-Aid on the present, I believe that with Cognitive-Behavioral techniques, we can protect ourselves from future hardship by learning and using these preventative therapeutic skills.
