About
I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology in 2018. The framework that informs my counseling practice is found in the following therapeutic modalities: Dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, multicultural therapy, person centered therapy, psychoanalytic therapy, relational thetapy, strength based therapy, and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. Through a collaborative and supportive approach, we will address areas where you feel shamed, stuck, conflicted, and powerless. It is my responsibility and objective to provide you with a safe therapeutic space and provide the best care possible.
Through the process of radical acceptance, the integration of formational life events into your current context(s), and non-judgmental/kind self awareness, we will bear witness to hurting aspects of yourself, in order to uncover hidden shame that drives your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors beyond your awareness. I believe that through genuine encounters with one another, in the therapeutic space, that you will be able to see your own essential goodness, as well as the essential goodness in others, allowing you to have more genuine relationships, an increased ability to tolerate distress, and a strengthened ability regulate difficult emotions.
