About

I am licensed in Minnesota with 5 years of professional work experience as a psychotherapist, and 8 years working in mental health more broadly. Prior to this I worked as a Philosophy professor after earning my PhD in philosophy.


Former clients tell me that I'm approachable, supportive, and a good listener. Many times I have been told that I seem to genuinely care about them--and they are right, I do! I take my job as a therapist very seriously, and I will collaborate and problem solve with you to help you reach your goals. I am a curious person and I will likely have lots of questions for you about your background, your family of origin, your perspective on life and the way you think.


I have experience in helping clients who suffer from stress and anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, panic attacks and panic disorder, agoraphobia, OCD, ADHD, coping with addictions, relationship issues, self esteem, and confidence. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
