I am an LCSW with a passion for working with women and teens who are motivated to work towards overcoming the obstacles that are holding them back! I have over 12 years experience in the treatment of anxiety, depression, coping with chronic illness, phobias, panic disorders, OCD, stress management, life transitions, and relational issues (family, parenting, and other relationships). I love to help people dig deep and discover how they can reclaim their joy and fulfillment in life. What is your approach to therapy? My approach to therapy is eclectic and varies, as I believe that each person presents with a unique background, and a differing set of strengths and weaknesses. Overall, I believe that each person has the ability to make positive change, they just may need assistance at times in discovering how to do so. I am also excited to provide a Christian approach to counseling when someone is seeking that; however, faith is not a prerequisite to working with me. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? I provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore what has brought you to therapy. Together, we will work towards setting goals and making a plan with manageable steps to get you where you want to be.
