About

Hello-
My name is Julie and I have been counseling in the outpatient setting for many years. I have a strong passion for providing a loving, nurturing and strengths-based atmosphere for all of my clients. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Social Work, as well as a Master's Degree in Social Work. I have my clinical license in North Carolina and have practiced here my entire career. My treatment approach is simple, I start where you are at and we slowly work to create small goals that you feel comfortable with in order for you to reach your long-term idea of happiness and contentment.

I work primarily with young adults and women struggling with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, stress, grief and phase of life changes. I am eager to meet you and begin our work together. I am also a Christian and believe that through the gospel, you can gain an even deeper and lasting healing from what you are struggling with. I, of course, will work with anyone...you don't have to be a Christian. This is something we will discuss in our first meeting.

I hold traditional office hours Mondays-Thursdays 9am-4pm. I am available to my clients but to ask for reasonable expectations in responding back to you. I will typically respond more quickly than 24 hours, but ask that you allow 24-48 hours to hear back from me initially. We will set up Live Sessions weekly to help reduce any confusion about my availability.

I hope to hear from you soon!

Julie
