Hello, my name is Julie Adcock. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have 15 years of counseling experience and have been in private practice for 5 years. I am passionate about helping people work through personal struggles and difficult situations to find joy and contentment in life. I believe success in therapy starts with the therapeutic relationship. I am looking forward to working with you to help you find your strengths and discover new possibilities in your life.

My primary approach in counseling is Cognitive Behavioral Counseling. This approach is based on the idea that your thoughts influence your emotions and your behavior. We will look at viewing problems from different angles to find solutions that work for you. I hope to challenge you, motivate you and empower you in our sessions.
