Hello!
My name is Julie Rave and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan. My background is wide and varied with over 28 years in special education, 15 years in counseling, as well as being a mindfulness/meditation coach. These 3 modalities allow me to see big picture ideas with those clients that I serve. My areas of expertise include stress management, life changes, adolescent and teen issues, and self esteem. I prefer to take a person centered approach with my clients. This means that instead of giving advice I work with people to find options, thus empowering them to take control back of their lives. My goal is to assist people with finding coping skills to navigate the stresses of day to day life, build healthy relationships with self and others, and finding balance.
