I completed my masters and doctoral degree at Midwestern University. I have had the privilege to work with teens, veterans, and adults in a variety of settings including community mental health, medical hospitals, VAs, private practice, and inpatient psychiatric facilities. Throughout my training, I gained valuable experiences working with diverse patient backgrounds and a variety of psychological conditions. Most of my clinical training and education has focused on treating trauma, moral injury, grief and loss, as well as dissociation, depression, panic, anxiety, and addiction. I have received training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain (CBT-CP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Depression (ACT-D), Adaptive Disclosure Therapy, and Brainspotting. Making the decision to start or return to therapy can often be scary and intimidating. I believe being authentic and meeting the client where they are establishes the truest connections. As a therapist, it is essential to listen to the client's needs and help establish a sense of trust and safety. I empower my clients by utilizing an eclectic approach and helping the client determine what style works best for them which allows clients to take an active approach in therapy.
