I am a licensed professional clinical counselor offering convenient teletherapy services in both Ohio and South Carolina and have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I am an open-minded and caring counselor who emphasizes a strength-based philosophy in my therapeutic work by encouraging you to identify and utilize your innate and unique strengths to help facilitate the healing and growth process. I have extensive experience working effectively with children, adolescents, adults, and elderly clients. We will first identify, and then explore, how your thoughts work by using a cognitive-behavioral and strength-based approach in our therapy journey together. And then, discover how these thoughts and feelings are expressed through your behavior and interactions with others. If you are an adult, I will spend some time with you exploring some of your childhood experiences to help you gain an understanding of how those earlier experiences contributed to shaping your thoughts, feelings, and experiences as an adult.
