Hi there! I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) who specializes in treating depression, anxiety, and traumatic stress symptoms. I have both educational background and professional experience working with trauma, and so I feel comfortable guiding clients through symptoms, memories, feelings, and thought patterns related to past traumatic experiences. I use a collaborative approach to counseling, trusting that my clients are the experts of their own experience and providing validation, compassion, and useful skills and tools as needed. I am also very experienced working with LGBTQ+ clients, and am happy to discuss issues related sexuality and coming out, transitioning, and dynamics in queer relationships.
