I work with people who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and those who are facing difficult decisions and life transitions. I will help you to explore and better understand yourself and the issues that bring you to therapy. My aim is to help clients to cultivate compassionate awareness of their thoughts and feelings, gain clarity, and move through life with reduced stress.

My approach is collaborative, warm, and non judgmental. Therapy is an interactive process between us; I draw from a mix of therapeutic orientations and consider clients’ unique needs in tailoring our work together.

Sometimes people feel ‘stuck’ because they are experiencing barriers to accessing and practicing coping skills: this includes busy students and professionals, and people who care for others (people in helping professions, parents, and people caring for a sick or aging loved one). I can help you navigate the very real stresses you are experiencing and find inroads to care for yourself when it feels impossible.

I specialize in supporting the unique needs of people caring for someone with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia and have worked for the past 8 years helping caregivers of all ages honor ambiguous grief and loss, manage stress, navigate complicated decisions, and take care of themselves.
