Hello! If you are reading this and looking for help, you are exactly where you need to be :) I like to think of myself as an "UNshrink" . I believe in helping to de-pathologize you and whatever it is that you are struggling with, and to help you to experience yourself, situation, partner(s), family, kids, LIFE, in a whole new way. I'm usually a good fit for people that aren't into traditional "therapy" for whatever reason: anxiety, skepticism, bad or unsuccessful past experiences..or if you think you, your family, everything is/are beyond hope! Not true :)
I specialize in de-pathologizing "symptoms" and helping you to see that these "symptoms" are just ways of guiding you to see how you are not truly living the life you were meant to live, because you are not truly connected to who you really are, yet!
I tend to have a very concrete, goal-directed approach. I feel strongly about making sure that you feel you are experiencing measureable progress in the direction you would like to go in, and not needing to be in therapy for long periods of time just talking, without feeling as if anything is getting resolved/changing. I also feel it is important that the people I work with feel deeply heard in their stories.
