About
Counseling does not solve problems, but instead provides a safe place to explore options and to process information. Counseling is for people with mental illness and for anyone who feels alone, misunderstood, hopelessness, or confused. Everyone struggles at one time or another, counseling is one way to ask for help.
One way I can be helpful is to provide a safe place to talk openly about your situation. I receive on going continuing education and work with other mental health professions to ensure continued professional awareness of counseling techniques. I want to be able to offer you the most effective way to address your unique situation.
I have raised three active children that includes one with a disability. I have six grandchildren and have served my community as a foster mother. I not only have a master's in community counseling but I have lived a little. My hope is that my continued training and life experience will aid me in being helpful to you.
