About

I am an Afro-Latina licensed clinical social worker in the state of NY and NJ with over 5 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked with adults from various communities and with a wide range of concerns including those in the LGBTQ+ community, “adulting”, academic achievement, anxiety, depression, impostor syndrome, relationship issues, parenting problems, obsessive and intrusive thoughts, history of abuse, sexuality, and race-based trauma.

My therapy style is down-to-earth, empowering, person-centered, strength-based, and stigma free. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. My approach combines principles from cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing provided with cultural considerations in mind. All services are tailored to meet your unique and specific needs.
