About
My intention as a therapist is to empower individuals be in tune with their deepest truths and to relate to life in a more authentic way. By providing a warm environment, I hope my clients feel safe to express what matters to them. My therapeutic approach is strongly influenced by more than 12 years of a dedicated meditation practice. I utilize mindfulness and somatic approaches in supporting people to become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and body sensations. In doing so, I trust that our ability to welcome our experience creates possibilities for healing and ultimately to cultivate a "life worth living." I have over 10 years of experience working in multiple mental health settings with people of different ages, ethnic backgrounds, religious affiliations, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, and various mental health conditions. I welcome people from all walks of life, and have experience working with a wide range of clients. Having said that, my specialties are in working with: Children who need help with emotional regulation skills, adolescents with depression and anxiety, individuals with mixed cultures or of immigrant descent, men looking to enhance their emotional intelligence, and people who want to integrate their spiritual practice with daily life.
