My name is Joyce Ngouan, MS, LPC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has had the privilege of providing counseling services to numerous individuals over the past 9 years in Oklahoma. My initial goal is to build trust with you by actively listening with unconditional positive regard, in a non-judgmental and genuine caring manner. Hopefully, this will help you to feel safe and free to share openly your symptoms, thoughts, feelings, and/or story with me. In helping you to achieve your counseling goals, my therapeutic techniques are holistic. I approach therapy by assessing your needs and goals. I may select to use one or more therapeutic techniques, which may include, but not limited to cognitive-behavioral, reality therapy, solution-focused, psychoeducational, trauma-informed, and mindfulness. I have experience helping and assisting individual(s) of all ages in the following areas:


I am passionate about helping individuals become the best versions of themselves, and helping them find hope in the person they could become. My goal is to provide a safe place to allow you to work through challenges and promote positive exploration and empowerment of yourself.

Taking that first step of seeking counseling can be tough. It's hard to imagine sharing your most intimate experiences, thoughts and challenges with a total stranger. I understand, I've been there. I have a deep level of compassion and a heart to help those who are hurting. My goal is to help you successfully navigate through life's challenging situations, while providing a safe place where you receive gentleness and compassion not pressure or judgment.
I offer a personalized approach that is tailored to each client's individual needs. I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues including the impact of trauma, depression, anxiety or grief/loss. Together, we will focus on problem solving, goal setting, and identifying your strengths to help you live a more fulfilled life.
