My goal for the counseling relationship is that you, the client, and I, the counselor, will develop trust with one another, work as a team to define and explore present problem situations, develop future goals for an improved life, and work toward those goals. While my counseling philosophies are informed by a biblical worldview, I will in no way pressure or require you to uphold my morals, values, or religious beliefs. As the client, I respect your value and belief system and will ask that you inform me how that is incorporated into counseling. My counseling style is a holistic approach. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion. My focus includes individuals and groups. I’ve worked with people of all ages and for a variety of relational and clinical issues. Counseling is a vulnerable process, and as a counselor, I consider it a privilege to participate in your story.
