Hello, my name is Joyce Foreman. I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have been providing therapy services to adults, teens and families for over 25 years. I believe we are all seeking to be our best self and looking for peace and contentment in our life. Unfortunately, at times we become stuck and are not able to feel that we are “in sync” with others around us even though we have a good marriage, children and career. Other times we don’t seem to be able to manage the “ups and downs” of our daily stressors and our old coping skills don’t seem to work anymore. We could be experiencing grief issues, postpartum issues, career issues or marital issues. If you are experiencing increased sadness, anxiety, depression or increased stress you may want to consider talking to a therapist to assist you with these issues. I am very client-centered and work with you to choose the best treatment plan utilizing various techniques which include cognitive behavioral therapy, coping strategies including education about healthy lifestyle choices and relaxation techniques, solution focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and interpersonal therapy which are a few of the therapy modalities that may be an option for you.
