It can be lonely and frustrating to have dreams and aspiration that seem to be outside our reach. Oftentimes, one of the most difficult things to acknowledge is the need for help. I understand stretching beyond our comfort zone and fears takes real courage, hope, self-determination and resilience. I am delighted that you have chosen to take this courageous step and excited to begin our journey together. So, congratulations on taking the first step to healing and personal wellness.

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Joy Harris. I have nearly 15 years of experience helping clients successfully navigate through various life challenges. I carry a deep conviction to help others flourish and grow. My passion is to come alone side of you to help you navigate through the unsettled waters of life assisting you in conquering the internal/external, past or present stressors/triggers in your life by getting to the root of the matter. Wow, that was a mouthful. In a nutshell, I sincerely want to see people become victorious in EVERY area of their lives. In your words, “productive and worthwhile” in every area of your life. We do this one layer at a time.

Coaching is a process that allows you the freedom and privacy to discuss issues that are often painful or difficult to discuss with family and/or friends as you stated in your initial message. With that said, you might or might not have been to a coach before. Please understand that initially you may feel a little nervous and have apprehensions. That is a normal response to starting any new journey. Together we will work through any difficulties and insights gained during the therapy process. Remember, I am here to support you along the way.

I believe people have the capacity to be great in their own right; all they need is someone who cares and helps foster hope. My focus will be on providing you the tools and empowerment you need to meet your needs and accomplish your goals. I am also hopeful that in the process of our work together, you can begin to feel more settled within yourself and within your relationships with no judgment.

It is indeed a pleasure to have the opportunity to come along side of you during this season of your life. I look forward to our first power session.
