About
Joshua "Josh" Duncan, is a Mental Health & Relationship Therapist, that provides individual and relational therapy services to clients ranging in ages from children, and teenagers to adults. Josh, as a Licensed Professional Counselor, believes that the path of change involves the letting go of old habits and embracing new habits through understanding how thoughts can impact feelings, and how those feelings influence our behavioral response, especially when feeling unsafe, and embarrassed.
Therefore, when we address our distorted thoughts our mood improves, and our
ability to cope and manage our relationships increases.
Josh has 17 years experience working with families in a variety of treatment settings
including working with the Arkansas Department of Human Service as an Intensive Family Therapist and acute hospital care. He has his Master's Degree in Clinical
Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from John Brown
University (Siloam Springs, AR).
Among Josh's talents outside of therapy, he speaks Spanish conversationally, he
enjoys being outside (especially biking!), writing, and playing piano!
