I provide individual therapy as well as couples therapy. My therapeutic approach is directed to enhance the individual’s success in therapy. I am an Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist. Internal Family Systems is a powerfully transformative, evidence-based model of psychotherapy. In accessing our inner world through the IFS model, one develops the ability to access our Self’s protective and wounded aspects. Our inner elements contain valuable qualities and our core Self, which knows how to heal, allowing us to become integrated and whole. IFS explores the process of Self-led healing within the individual. This therapeutic approach expands one’s curiosity to explore Self and seek creative, curious, and compassionate ways to gain insight into the burdens and trauma that have created pain in one’s life. As the individual becomes aware and utilizes this powerful method of accessing one’s inner resources, the individual can begin to heal.
