I am a Board Certified Licensed Clinical Mental Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate in North Carolina. I have been in the mental health field for 27 years and have been practicing as a Counselor for over 7 years. I have worked in a variety of settings including Psychiatric hospitals for both children and adults, Intensive-in-home, outpatient, inpatient, individual, couples, and groups. My counseling style is non-judgemental and empathetic. I believe in treating all things with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My therapies and theories of practice are social learning theory, humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, bibliography, rational emotive behavioral therapy, and person-centered. I meet people where they are emotionally to support and guide them to a better place no matter long it takes. Everyone is individualized and so is their situation. I work with others together as a team so that your goals and treatment plans are unique and specific to your individual needs. Your thoughts and our working together make up your person-centered plan.
