I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) with over 25 years of clinical experience with individuals, families, couples, and organizational systems which lends itself to helping family-owned businesses on issues such as family relationships, boundaries, and succession planning,. My primary approach to therapy is based in Bowenian Systems Theory. Systems Theory is predicated on the idea that one person's behavior effects others in the system, either positively or negatively. My practice experiences include anger management, sexual, emotional, and physical abuse survivors, and helping people process grief.
I earned a bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from William Jewel College in Liberty, MO; a Master's Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Houston Graduate School of Theology in Houston, TX; and a Doctoral Degree in Mental Health Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ.
