Hello!

My name is Jordan Vann and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Alabama. I have over three years of counseling experience and over six years of experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in range of settings, including private practice, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, and a substance use treatment facility. I have worked with populations experiencing depression, anxiety, substance abuse issues, adjustments issues, chronic pain, relationship issues, trauma, grief, and personality disorders.

My counseling style is warm and encouraging. I take the role of a facilitator, as together we work towards meeting your unique goals through a variety of evidence based therapeutic interventions. I draw from a variety of counseling approaches, including person centered, narrative, solution focused, CBT, and DBT. My aim is to help you to discover the resiliency within yourself while working to establish your ideal self and life. The therapeutic experience should be the origin of progress, resilience, and growth. You have already taken a courageous step forward by choosing to make a positive change.
