Hello! My name is Jordan Matuszak, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Wisconsin with 3 years of counseling experience; however, I have been working in the mental health field since 2014. I have been providing intensive in home services for children and their families in Northeastern Wisconsin for the past 3 years. Prior to that, I worked as a youth behavioral specialist working with children with a variety of struggles including anger, aggression, ADHD, ODD, depression, anxiety, and depression. I received my BSW (2016) and MSW(2017) at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Go Phoenix! I am certified in Brain Spotting therapy. I have worked with clients with a variety of struggles including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, childhood trauma, ADHD, ODD, relationship issues, divorced families, and parenting problems. My main focus has been with children and their families; however, I have worked a great deal with parents and couples. I also have experience working with autism.

My therapeutic approach is empathetic and understanding. I believe in a person-centered approach where I do not judge the client. I feel empowering your client to make their own decisions and choices is so important. I also believe in using a strengths-based approach to maximize the client's strengths and qualities in order to help them feel confident and in charge of their life and relationships. My treatment modalities consist of a combination of trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, CBT, person centered, strength based, DBT, relationship building, and mindfulness.
