I like people and I find deep meaning and purpose in doing the work of knowing, understanding, and helping them. I love listening to people tell their stories and joining them through my imagination and emotions. If this sounds like an odd mystery, it’s because it is. The way in which human beings connect and share experience through the verbal and non-verbal means of expression is curious and powerful. Much has been written about nature of reality and human relationship and yet, there’s far more that we don’t know and understand, than we do. This discovery of the nature of God, ourselves, others, and the reality we inhabit is the mystery that I love to unfold and examine with others as we try to make sense of their lives. My approach to counseling is highly relational, process oriented, and narrative in form. I’m quick but I don’t hurry. I also practice from a foundation of integration of psychology and theology.
