Hello! I just want to take a moment and commend you for reaching out for help. I know everyone says this and well, it is said because it is true. It takes a brave person to recognize they need help and then reach out for it. The process of finding a therapist can be overwhelming too. Take your time and peruse the therapists until you find one that meets your needs. It can be a hit or miss at first but with a little perseverance, you will find the right match.

A little bit about me and my style may be helpful. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing for over 10+ years. My areas of experience include: grief and bereavement, hospice, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ issues, communication and mediation, mindfulness, personality disorders, and life challenges/changes. My style is humanistic and existential. In short, I believe that you are the expert of your life and my role is to help give you guidance, encouragement, and challenge your behaviors or thoughts when necessary. I believe in honesty, being respectful, and being judgement free. I love using humor and analogies to help people wrap their minds around complicated ideas and to make change feel less daunting and more manageable.
