Welcome! Counseling is a big step and a challenging time for most. First some about me and my career path. I spent 8 years in the United States Army prior to obtaining my Undergraduate degree in Psychology and my Graduate degree in Social Work. While working on my clinical license I worked in Hospitals, Schools and Acute Psychiatric Settings. My time in in the Military as well as various clinical settings has prepared me for working with clients with a variety of different illnesses, impairments, problems and issues. I have experience working with children, adults, couples, Veterans, military service men and women as well as families.

My current focus and specialty is Motivational Interviewing. Change can be hard for a variety of reasons. This would be a great opportunity to discuss where you currently are, where you want to be and what may be in the way of achieving that.

I also am experienced in Trauma related disorders and Crisis as well as experience with substance use dependence, anxiety, depression as well as severe and persistent mental health disorders.

I currently offers Written Exposure Therapy for individuals that suffer from Chronic PTSD.

My approach is to meet clients where there are and to help them build on their own strengths and experiences while growing and moving forward. I look forward to our work and journey together!
