I've been working as a clinical therapist in Alaska for 4 years and have worked in a variety of capacities in the mental health field for close to twenty years. The bulk of my experience helping clients has focused on stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, & coping with grief and loss. My therapeutic orientation begins with treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I believe that making the decision to seek therapy takes courage and a willingness to make one's self vulnerable in ways that can feel scary or risky in the event we're unfamiliar with this process.
