Mr. Jonah Samuelowitz, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Mr. Samuelowitz has a specialization in Health Psychology as well as a sub-specialization in treating those with substance abuse issues. Mr. Samuelowitz provides individual therapy with children, adolescents, and adults in addition to couple’s and family therapy. Mr. Samuelowitz is a caring and compassionate therapist who utilizes several therapeutic approaches when working with his client’s including CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused. Mr. Saumelowitz has considerable experience working with individuals across the lifespan as well as in emergency situations where he has provided counseling and crisis intervention. He approaches each task with commitment and dedication, striving to create a safe, confidential, non-judgmental, and trustworthy atmosphere where patients feel respected and validated. Mr. Samuelowitz obtained his master’s degree in social work from Stony Brook University in New York. Mr. Samuelowitz has experience in patients with traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders, anxiety, bipolar disorder, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, depression as well as many other diagnoses.
