I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist in North Carolina with over 14 years of experience. I graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy and am a National Certified Counselor and a Master Addictions Counselor.

I have worked with clients in a broad range of concerns, including crisis situations, depression, substance use disorders, cross-cultural, and communication issues. I strongly believe that counseling is a journey, and that it is your journey. I am not here to show you where you should go, or to give you the answers, but to help equip you. My style of counseling is very person centered, with a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.

My goal in counseling is to work with you to develop the tools and skills that you can apply to all aspects of your life. We begin counseling where you are, not where I think you should start. As my client, I want to come alongside you and assist you to learn and grow in ways you may have never imagined.
